MONROEVILLE, Ala. - The Coastal Alabama - North Women's Basketball program continued its tradition of developing student-athletes for the next level as three players from the 2025-26 squad officially signed to continue their collegiate careers at four-year institutions.
Under the leadership of head coach Mandee Armstrong, forward Saije Taylor signed with Miles College (Ala.), while guards Ashley Brach and Ariel Gilchrist both signed with University of Mobile (Ala.).
For Saije Taylor, the sophomore earned First-Team All-Conference honors in the ACCC Division II ranks after a standout sophomore campaign. The forward ranked fifth in the ACCC in rebounds per game at 7.7 and sixth in total rebounds with 200. She appeared in and started all 26 games for the Coyotes, averaging 13.1 points per game while shooting 37.9 percent from the floor and adding 2.1 steals per contest.
Ariel Gilchrist also played a major role for Coastal Alabama - North during the 2025-26 season as the starting point guard, starting 22 of 26 games played. Gilchrist averaged 9.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.8 steals per game while shooting 34.5 percent from the floor.
Meanwhile, Ashley Brach appeared in all 26 games for the 'Yotes as a key role player, providing depth and leadership throughout the season.
The trio adds to the growing list of student-athletes from the Coastal Alabama - North Women's Basketball program advancing to four-year institutions and continuing their careers at the collegiate level.
