Box Score 2 THE COOPER CENTER | MONROEVILLE, Ala. - Coastal Alabama - North Men's Basketball delivered a dominant week on its home floor, earning back-to-back ACCC victories with an 83-55 win over Bevill State (Ala.) on Tuesday, Dec. 2 and a 65-45 win over conference and area rival Reid State Tech (Ala.) on Thursday, Dec. 4 to remain perfect in the ACCC D-II Men's Basketball standings. Additionally, the two wins for the Coyotes improves the overall record on the year to 7-5, with the conference record beginning at 3-0.
Coastal Alabama - North 83, Bevill State 55 (Dec. 2)
The Coyotes controlled the night from start to finish, never trailing in the game and jumping out to a 40-18 halftime lead behind sharp shooting and a strong presence on the glass. Coastal - North saw five Yotes finish in double figures, led by Bryce Wilkins' 16 points and 14 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the 2025-26 campaign. Wilkins was followed by Chimeziri Okeoma, who added 12 points, knocking down a pair of threes, while Eli Pippins finished with nine points and seven assists, orchestrating the offensive attack.
One of the bigger performances of the night came from off the bench for the Coyotes as redshirt freshman Evan Bignell put together a season-best 12-point performance against the Bears, knocking down four three-pointers in the second half alone to keep the game out of reach. Bignell's previous season-high was just three points against Bishopn State (Ala.) back on Nov. 10.
Overall, Coastal shot 51.7% from the field and 47.8% from three, while out-rebounding Bevill State 48-25. A total of 11 Coyotes scored in the 28-point victory.
Coastal Alabama - North 65, Reid State 45 (Dec. 4)
Two nights later, the Yotes completed a win with another wire-to-wire victory, using stifling defense and efficient guard play to move to 2-0 in early-season ACCC home action.
Coastal - North opened the game with a 12-0 run over the Lions, but Reid State answered with a 9-0 run of their own. However, strong shooting helped keep the Coyotes out front, which eventually saw the home team run away with a 20-point victory.
Guard Chimeziri Okeoma poured in a season-high 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting against the conference rival, including five made threes. Okeoma has now finished in double figures in eight of the 12 games played during the season. Meanwhile, Eli Pippins recorded a near triple-double with 14 points, 12 assists, and five rebounds, leading an offense that posted 17 assists on 24 made field goals. Bryce Wilkins again anchored the interior with 10 points and 10 rebounds, collecting his fifth double-double of the year, while the Coyotes' defense held Reid State to just 45 total points and forced 15 turnovers.
Coastal - North dominated the boards with 42 rebounds, 11 of which came on the offensive side for second chance opportunities.
