MONROEVILLE, Ala. - The Coastal Alabama - North Softball program has announced its 2026 softball schedule, featuring a slate of non-conference matchups, ACCC Division II play, and multiple early-season tournaments as the Coyotes prepare for a competitive spring.
The 2026 campaign opens on Jan. 27 with a road doubleheader at Meridian Community College (Miss.) in Meridian, Miss. Coastal - North will then compete in the Mardi Gras Invitational in Youngsville, La. on Jan. 30, marking the team's first neutral-site action of the season.
The 'Yotes make their home debut during Homecoming on the Coastal Alabama - Monroeville campus on Feb. 5, hosting John A. Logan College (Ill.) and Southern Union State (Ala.) in a pair of non-conference contests. Home dates throughout the season include matchups against East Mississippi, Reid State Technical College (Ala.), Bevill State (Ala.), Chattahoochee Valley (Ala.), Wallace Community College - Dothan (Ala.), Enterprise State (Ala.), Marion Military Institute (Ala.), Central Alabama, Bishop State (Ala.), and Lurleen B. Wallace (Ala.). Coastal Alabama - North will also host counterpart Coastal Alabama - South for a doubleheader on Feb. 10.
Tournament play highlights the early portion of the schedule, with the Coyotes traveling to Gulf Shores, Ala. to compete in the Coyote Classic from February 13-14, facing East Central (Miss.), Hinds (Miss.), Copiah-Lincoln (Miss.), and Holmes (Miss.). Later in the season, the 'Yotes will conclude regular-season action before heading to the 2026 ACCC Division II Softball Championship Tournament, scheduled for May 1 at Veterans Park in Alabaster, Ala.
Conference play spans late February through April and includes home-and-away series against familiar ACCC opponents, setting the stage for a postseason push.
All home games will be played at the softball stadium on the Coastal Alabama - Monroeville campus, with doubleheaders scheduled throughout the season. Additionally, all home games will be broadcasted live on JockJive.com. Dates and times are subject to change.
