Box Score THE COOPER CENTER | MONROEVILLE, Ala. - Coastal Alabama - North Men's Basketball delivered its strongest performance of the young season on Monday night at the Cooper Center in Monroeville, rolling past Delgado Community College (La.) 86-67 to secure its first home victory of the year and move to 3-3 overall on the young season.
The Coyotes controlled the matchup from start to finish, putting together back-to-back 43-point halves while shooting an impressive 55.2% from the field and 61.5% from three-point range. Coastal - North also dominated the glass, recording 48 total rebounds and 14 offensive boards. Additionally, the Coyotes moved the ball well, posting 19 assists on 32 made field goals.
Balanced Offense Leads the Way
Chimeziri Okeoma led all scorers with 18 points in the win, 15 points coming in the first half alone. Okeoma knocked down four threes on 7-of-16 shooting in his best offensive performance of the season. Justin Burns followed and was a force inside, posting a 14-point, 16-rebound double-double while shooting 7-for-11 from the floor. Meanwhile, Eli Pippins orchestrated the offense, finishing with 10 points, nine assists, and five rebounds to flirt with a triple-double.

SC4 Tournament Upcoming
The strong win for the Yotes builds momentum as Coastal - North continues early non-conference slate this upcoming weekend at the SC4 Tip Off in Port Huron, Mich.
The SC4 Thumbcoast Tip Off is a premier NJCAA Men's Basketball tournament featuring eight of the top junior college teams in the country on Nov. 20-22. The 2025 tournament will include Coastal Alabama - North, Parkland College, Macomb CC, Marian University's Ancilla College, Monroe CC, Mid Michigan College, Bryant & Stratton College - WI, and SC4.
