GREENVILLE, Ala. - The Coastal Alabama - North Men's Golf team secured its second top-five finish in the last three tournaments during the spring portion of the 2025-26 schedule, placing fifth overall out of eight competing teams at the LBW Spring Invitational.Â
Jackson Cleveland highlighted the tournament for Coastal - North, finishing tied for second overall with a two-round total of 147 (+3). Cleveland carded rounds of 74 and 73, improving by a stroke on day two and staying in the hunt for medalist honors until the final holes.
Spencer Neely and Ty Posey each tied for 24th with identical 160 (+16) totals. Neely rebounded from an opening-round 83 to shoot 77 in round two, while Posey posted rounds of 79 and 81 across the tournament. Meanwhile, Gabe Patterson finished tied for 28th at 162 (+18), improving six strokes from round one to round two with rounds of 84 and 78. Lucas Chalk rounded out the Coyotes' lineup, placing 39th with a 182 (+38), shooting 97 and 85 over the two rounds.
The fifth-place result marks Coastal's second top-five finish this spring, highlighting the team's consistency and ability to compete near the top of the leaderboard.
What's Ahead
Coastal Alabama - North will look to improve on the fifth-place finish ahead, as the 'Yotes travel to Enterprise, Ala. next on the schedule, competing at The Bridges at Tartan Pines-Enterprise Country Club on Mar. 15-17 for the 2026 Enterprise Spring Series.
