UNION GROVE, Ala. - The Coastal Alabama North Men's Golf team placed 10th overall at the ACCC Men's Golf Regional Championship Tournament that wrapped up on April 8, with the Coyotes finishing with an overall team score of 631 (+55) across two rounds played. The tournament was originally scheduled for three rounds beginning on Sunday, April 6, but weather during the first round forced the ACCC to update the tournament to just two rounds on the par 72 course in Union Grove, Ala. Wallace State - Hanceville (Ala.) eventually won this year's conference tournament with a 587 (+11) team score.
Coy Ingram led the Coyotes with a 20th-place finish out of 75 total golfers, finishing with a +10 as an individual entrant. Ingram came away with four birdies total, with his best round being a +4 in round one. Jackson Cleveland then led the Coyotes' team finishes with a 25th-place finish, finishing 11 strokes above par. Cleveland tallied a team-high six birdies across both rounds, including four on the final day.
Lucas Chalk followed with a +14 in 35th place, recording four birdies, while Will Windham tallied one birdie and 20 pars to finish 40th overall with a +15. Rounding out Coastal North's finishes at this year's conference tournament was Logan Barnes in 49th with a +17 and Gabe Patterson in 57th with a +19.
The Coyotes are scheduled to return to action for the NJCAA Southeast District Championship on April 20-22 in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
