BREWTON, Ala. - Coastal Alabama North Baseball turned in a powerful performance Wednesday, March 12, sweeping Lurleen B. Wallace Community College (Ala.) in a home doubleheader with wins of 16-6 in run-rule fashion and 8-5 in a seven-inning contest to wrap up the day. The Coyotes improve to 12-14 overall on the year following Wednesday's sweep, while moving back to .500 in the ACCC with a 7-7 record.
Game 1 Recap – Coastal 16, LBW 6 (6 innings)
The Coyotes exploded for 16 runs on 16 hits in a run-rule shortened opener. Multiple hitters stood out and helped produce at the plate to secure the 10-run win.
Ethan McAnally led the charge, going 3-for-4 with a home run and five RBIs in game one. He was complemented by Luis Vicente, who went 4-for-5 with two doubles and also managed five RBIs. Reigning ACCC D-II Baseball Player of the Week Jeremiah Gary added three hits and three runs, while Elijah Guilliams collected three hits, including a double, and scored twice.
On the mound, Jay Davis earned the start and tossed 3.2 innings, allowing five runs and striking out three. Harrison Hicks then checked in from out off the bullpen and finished off the game with 2.1 innings of relief, allowing just one run to earn the win.
Coastal North's offense jumped out early with six runs in the first two innings and capped the win with a seven-run sixth to secure the 10-run rule victory.

Game 2 Recap – Coastal 8, LBW 5
The nightcap proved more competitive, but Coastal North again came through with timely hitting and solid pitching.
After falling behind 1-0, the Coyotes rallied for three runs in the third inning and added four more in the fifth. Kobe Riggs launched a solo homer, while Pace Young went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. Gulliams, McAnally, and Gary each drove in a run as well.
On the mound, Noah Morgan got the start, tossing five innings and giving up three earned runs on three hits. TJ Hauser closed the door with two solid innings of relief to seal the sweep, earning the win on the rubber.
Overall, the Coyotes out-hit LBW 10-7 in the second win of the day, using a four-run fifth inning to seal the victory.
Not Done with LBW
Following Wednesday's doubleheader sweep, Coastal Alabama North will ride momentum into the next games on the schedule, coming against LBW on Friday, March 14. Friday's games will be played on LBW's field in Andalusia, Ala. and are scheduled to start at 12:00 p.m. CT.
