PENSACOLA, Fla. – Coastal Alabama – North Women's Volleyball dropped just its second match of the month of September on Tuesday evening, Sept. 23, falling in a tough road match to Pensacola Christian College (Fla.). The Coyotes fell in straight sets to the Eagles 19-25, 20-25, 20-25, seeing the overall record fall to 9-5 on the season.
The Coyotes battled closely in each frame but could not overcome the Eagles' steady attack on their home floor. Setter Hannah Vinas directed the offense with 21 assists while also adding 12 digs to notch a double-double and solid all-around performance. On the offensive end, Coastal - North only managed 26 kills off a .098 hitting percentage, led by Ella Sprouse, Lexi Drace, and Faith Reid with four kills each. At the net, Savannah Creamer came away with three blocks, adding three kills on a .333 hitting clip, while the Yotes collected 44 digs as a unit. Shaylee Frederick joined Vinas in double figures with 11 digs on the night.

Following the loss to Pensacola Christian, the Yotes continue non-conference action next on the schedule, coming on Thursday, Sept. 25 in Cuthbert, Ga. Coastal - North is scheduled to face Andrew College (Ga.) on Thursday, with first serve being set for 5:00 p.m. CT.
