BREWTON, Ala. – The Coastal Alabama – North Women's Volleyball program, led by 12th-year head coach Steve Dickey, officially released the 2025 season schedule, set to begin with a pair of road matches this upcoming Saturday, Aug. 23. Dickey will attempt to lead this year's Coyote squad to another successful season after finishing 10 matches above .500 during 2024 (23-13).
The season opens on with a road trip to Poplarville, Miss. where Coastal Alabama - North will face Pearl River Community College (Miss.) at 11:00 a.m. CT before taking on East Central Community College (Miss.) later that afternoon. Both matches are non-conference matches to open up the year.
One week later, Yotes fans in the Brewton area will get their first look at the Coyotes on Aug. 30 when they host United States Sports University (Ala.) in the team's home opener. The home opener is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. CT. This year's home schedule is highlighted by key matchups against conference rivals including Enterprise State (Ala.), Bishop State (Ala.), and Coastal Alabama - South. Matches with the fellow Yotes of Coastal Alabama - South are slated for Sept. 17 (away) and Oct. 8 (home).
In total, the Coyotes are set for 18 home matches in Brewton during the 2025 campaign, 14 of which coming during a busy month of October.
The Coyotes will close the regular season at home on Oct. 29 against John Melvin University (Fla.) in a non-conference battle before heading to Montgomery, Ala. for the ACCC's Gulf Atlantic District A/B Championship, beginning Oct. 31 at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl in downtown Montgomery. If Coastal Alabama - North can manage a south division title in the ACCC, the Coyotes will head to the 2025 NJCAA D-II Women's Volleyball National Championship Tournament in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Nov. 19.
