MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) officially announced its 2025 Women's Volleyball Awards on Monday, Nov. 3, with three members of the Coastal Alabama - North Women's Volleyball program earning conference honors. Head Coach Steven Dickey was named the ACCC South Division Coach of the Year, while standout student-athletes Ella Sprouse and Hannah Vinas were both recognized with All-Conference selections for their performances during the 2025 season.
In his 11th season at the helm, head coach Steven Dickey earned the ACCC South Division Coach of the Year Award after guiding the Coyotes to another successful campaign. Coastal Alabama - North advanced to the postseason as the No. 3 seed in the ACCC South Division and surpassed the 20-win mark for the second consecutive year, finishing with an overall record of 21-11 and an 8-4 conference mark during the regular season. The Coyotes excelled on their home court with a 13-3 home record, highlighted by victories over notable opponents such as Enterprise State (2024 ACCC Champions), Coastal Alabama - South, and Gadsden State (Ala.).
Sophomore outside hitter Ella Sprouse earned ACCC All-Region 22 Second Team and All-South Second Team honors, marking her second straight season receiving all-conference recognition. The Sneads, Fla., native ranked fourth in the conference in kills per set (3.20) and led the Coyotes with 314 kills across 29 matches. Sprouse posted a strong .293 hitting percentage on the year, which ranks sixth across the ACCC. She also contributed 218 digs defensively and a team-leading 50 service aces during the season.
Freshman setter Hannah Vinas made an immediate impact in her debut collegiate season, earning ACCC All-South Second Team honors. The Orlando, Fla. native led Coastal Alabama - North with 859 assists, nearly 700 more than the next closest player on the roster. Vinas averaged 8.03 assists per set, ranking fifth in the ACCC, while also adding 178 digs, 30 service aces, and 28 kills on just over 100 total attacks. Vinas' 850+ assists
Coastal Alabama - North concluded the 2025 season at the ACCC Volleyball Championship Tournament in Montgomery, Ala., finishing pool play with a 1-2 record and narrowly missing a berth in the semifinals.
