MOBILE, Ala. - Coastal Alabama - North Women's Golf turned in a competitive showing at the Snead State Women's Spring Invitational on Feb. 23-24, finishing ninth overall as CeCe Ball highlighted the event with her first-career top-10 finish.
Competing in Mobile, Ala., the Coyotes were led by Ball, who placed ninth individually with a two-round total of 167 (+23). After opening with an 88 in round one, Ball bounced back with a strong 79 in the second round to secure her spot inside the top 10 — marking a significant milestone in her collegiate career.
Ellayna Hamm finished tied for 33rd with rounds of 92 and 96 for a 188 (+44) as an individual entrant, while Anna Kate Daniels placed tied for 35th after posting scores of 94 and 95 for a 189 (+45).
Kendell Alvare recorded rounds of 102 and 104 to finish tied for 50th at 206 (+62), and Riley Dawson posted a 208 (+64), shooting 102 and 106 to place tied for 53rd. Kaitlyn Cooley rounded out Coastal's lineup with a 222 (+78), tallying rounds of 112 and 110 to place tied for 59th.
As a team, Coastal Alabama - North placed ninth overall in the 12-team tournament field, gaining valuable experience as the spring season continues.
The Coyotes will look to build on Ball's momentum and the team's collective growth as they prepare for their next competition.
