PANAMA CITY, Fla. - Coastal Alabama - North Men's and Women's Cross Country turned in a pair of strong team performances Friday morning at the Gulf Coast State College (Fla.) Invitational in Panama City, Fla., highlighted by four Coyotes earning top-10 individual finishes.

The women's team placed fifth out of 10 teams in the 5K, while the men's team finished fourth out of six teams in the 8K.

Freshman Hannah Galloway continued her standout season for the women's team, earning a second-place finish with a time of 19:49. The Silverhill, Ala., native established a new program record and personal best for the third consecutive meet, shaving another second off her previous mark last week at the Azalea City Classic. Galloway also was the first collegiate-affiliated runner to cross the finish line, continuing her impressive run as the reigning two-time ACCC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

The women's team recorded a combined time of 1:55:57, with Roxanna Mendoza finishing 24th in 21:37 and Elizabeth Reynoso placing 28th in 22:03. Jade Ruiz Ochoa crossed the line in 43rd place with a time of 22:51, while Allison Reeves rounded out the team results in 72nd at 29:34.

On the men's side, three Coyotes secured top-10 finishes in the 8K race. Remi Kepran led Coastal - North with a seventh-place finish in 27:13, followed by Riley Valdez in ninth at 27:27 and Tyler Harris in 10th at 27:32.

Darwin Vasquez finished 22nd in 28:45, while Noah Wyatt placed 45th with a time of 31:07. Men's individual competitors Jaylen Walker and Bradley Campbell finished 56th and 58th, respectively, recording times of 34:06 and 37:42.

Regular Season Schedule Winds Down

The Coastal - North Cross Country teams will close out the regular season portion of the 2026 schedule next week, competing at the annual FSU Invitational hosted by Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla. Next week's regular season finale is scheduled for Friday morning, Oct. 9, with the women's team competing at 7:40 a.m. ET / 6:40 a.m. CT, and the men's team racing at 8:20 a.m. ET / 7:20 a.m. CT.
