Zachery Wyatt

Zachery Wyatt serves as the assistant coach for the Coastal Alabama - North Cross Country program in Brewton, Ala. and enters his first full season with the 'Yotes. 

A native of Fairhope, Alabama, Wyatt brings more than nine years of running experience, along with competitive insight and genuine enthusiasm, to the Coastal Alabama Cross Country program. Wyatt began his distance running career at Fairhope High School (Ala.), where he developed a strong appreciation for the discipline and commitment to the sport's demands. He continued his athletic journey at Coastal Alabama Community College, making history as the first student-athlete to sign a scholarship with the college’s cross country program.

As a member of the Coyotes, Wyatt earned ACCC Runner of the Week honors and played a pivotal role in building the foundation of the men’s program in Brewton. His contributions helped lead the team to national rankings, qualification for the NJCAA Cross Country National Championship, the program’s first race victory, and a 100% graduation rate.

In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Wyatt earned an Associate's of Applied Science Degree in Cybersecurity from Coastal Alabama Community College and is currently employed with Provalus. Outside of coaching and running, he enjoys backpacking and spending time outdoors.

Wyatt is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the course, emphasizing hard work, perseverance, and a lifelong dedication to the sport.
